Meteor CoC Mana Strike Sorcerer Build Guide

Michael studied the Arcane Arts for some time, but turns out, he just wanted to be a meteorologist.

This build utilizes the mana punishing Harbinger of Stars.

We are a Sorcerer base, but play as a Spellblade.

We need to have a well rolled Harbinger of Stars with a minimum or 9% (the max) to cast Meteor on crit.

This mechanic can and will snowball, while several Meteor's are critting as well, allowing all attacks from Mana Strike and Meteor to crit virtually 100% of the time.

Min/Maxing will be difficult, but the build can be ran successfully with moderate rolls in the place of the showcased gear. The video is with non-min/max gear, and it ran all content with no issues.

Attack speed is paramount in this build. Your tooltip DPS will always be incorrect for the Meteor, as it implies that you will be self casting... Which you will not be 99% of the time. Meteor will fall so long as you are critical striking an enemy.

Be sure to scale Mirror Breath 1/1 as soon as you scale Dragon Mage 9/10. Dragon Mage 9/10 Will be useless until you have the singular point in Mirror Breath 1/1.

Gameplay / Mechanics

The rotation is simple for generic packs.

Enchant Weapon should be auto proc'ing for you.

Teleport into a pack. Teleport give us ward and armor.

Open up with Mana Strike. Mana Strike uses several key nodes to ensure we are critical striking the enemy as fast as possible. We also gain ward and tap into an unlimited pool of mana, so long as we're attacking.

Meteor's will start to rain down, ensuring nearly anything in range is almost immediately wiped up.

For more difficult mobs, open up with Flame Ward and repeat the cycle. Flame Ward will also add 10 base fire damage to our Meteor thanks to the Through Flames 5/5 node.

For bossing, the rotation is also simple with one add on.

Empty your mana pool into the boss with Meteor. Walk or Teleport into the boss and begin to Mana Strike. Use Flame Ward when appropriate, and when your mana is nearly full again (few seconds), repeat the cycle.

This cycle can be used for difficult packs on the maps as well.

Endgame

Looking to mix/max our attack speed and critical modifier is key. We only care about mana strikes chance to crit, which is vastly increased with the Critical Rejuvenation 1/1 node. This and Mana Storm 1/1 and Explosive Flurry 2/2 keep us hitting fast and critical striking.
