When you have a bit of time, what would you suggest in changes to passives/gear for a ward-heavy build with Shroud of Obscurity to keep high Dance With Death uptime?
You should put a point into Hollow Lich. I did the entire campaign with Hollow Lich (converts leech to damage) with very little ward so this kind of style can get you to the end game. I played around with it again when I dropped an Ensang during empowered monoliths. For most players, I think it should be fine, but if you are committed to making a deeper run into the end game it will be up to you to decide how to do that. The only other passive you'll probably really want to take is 5 points into Darkguard. I played with Soul Barrier and Mental Cacophany too, but for this kind of "Ensang-like" build, Hollow Lich and Darkguard will be the essential ones to get.
Hollow Lich does not convert the on-hit leech from Ageless Ascetic to damage but does convert everything from Soul Maw.
The elephant in the room is Death Seal and what you'll be replacing that with since it would just remove all your ward for no value. What I played around with was Aura of Decay and converting it completely to Armor Shred. Just take all the nodes to the right on the skill tree that applies stacks of Armor Shred. It's quite effective but does also apply them to yourself as well, so you'll have to toggle it on and off and may want to include a belt with cleanse.
Glad you're having fun with the build and making it your own! I'm curious to hear how this build progresses!
