Flurry to Multishot - Physical Shotgun Marksman Build Guide

Overview

?

This is a simple and straight-forward build. You just put Flurry on your right-click, use it and never take your finger off it.

You can play without any unique - But I would strongly advise you to get Advent of the Erased boots. They just give you way to much survivability (1000-6000 ward) making you almost impossible to one-shot. You don't need them while leveling but they should be acquired as soon as possible.

You're a map-killer and a boss-shredder at the same time. Try to shoot enemies from far away on maps and let them come to you. The closer you are to the enemies, the more damage you do. Against bosses, you should just put yourself on top of them and right-click to death. You should get 4000+ ward every second, and they shouldn't be able to one-shot you until 500+ corruption.

I was made aware recently that this build has the possibility to shoot really fast because of a known bug. This should still be 100% viable at 1.0 launch because they should also fix the bug that makes the Flurry arrows go thru enemies, balancing the two.

I'll update this on 1.0 release depending on the situation.

Pros & Cons

Pros

Can't be one-shot until high end-game

No Dodge/Armor/Block needed

Cons

Can die instantly if an enemy hits you before you do

Long time between 2 Dash

Gameplay / Mechanics

We use 2 main mechanics:

So we stack "Chance to gain Haste on hit" and the effect of Advent of the Erased - This is just stupidly effective, so we don't need dodge nor armor nor block chance. You just facetank everything until 500+ corruption.

And we use PrefixIncreased Damage per arrow with Multishot as we shoot 14 arrows (17 with Drelkor's Compass) and it multiplies for every arrow. At best you would have 52% increased damage per arrow (17*52 = 884% increased damage) with Giant Slayer 1/1 giving us even more damage on single targets.

On Bosses, you would need to use Smoke Bomb every time it is usable, as you gain a LOT of dodge rating beeing inside it, and Shurikens every time Smoke Bomb is usable for additional Shred Physical Resistance and you also gain Bladed Armor 3/3, for the whole duration.

Blessings

The blessings cover Elemental Resistances so we look for other things on our gear.

Emptiness of Ash is less important than the other ones.

Allure of Apathy is our only way to proc Slow so we really need it as we do way more damage on slowed enemies thanks to Pinning Shots 3/3.

Endgame

You can just go for every Unique there is in the Build variant, but you really need at least 2LP on every piece of gear!

I only filled the LP with 1%+ chance to appear, but with trading you could probably go full nuts on this one.

It should be stupidely overpowered until way over 500 corruption.

Loot Filter

No loot filter is provided for this guide. You can generate a loot filter for this build in the Build Planner or create one using Filter Wizard in the Loot Filters section.
