Overview

?

Maddison overwhelms her enemies not with fire and brimstone, but with physical pain and agony.

This marksman specializes in tearing swaths of enemies apart with various offensive and defensive ailments.

-----

SuffixChance To Blind is applied as a defensive layer, in order to help avoid critical strikes.

SuffixChance To Slow is also applied as a defensive layer, to keep the enemies that are immune to stun further away.

Death from Afar 5/5 stuns and shred enemies to keep them at bay and weakens them.

Perforate 2/5 is used to add our 5th ailment for the Debilitation 5/5 node. However this is not our main damage dealer, this is just a way too soften up targets while we regen (very quickly) our mana.

-----

Maddison's skill rotation is fairly simple.

Empty your mana pool with Flurry into bad guys... This should take only a few seconds to do and 99% of what you come across will die. While you are channeling Flurry your well rolled Telf'un's Mirage will add to your already significant dodge rating. This will also let you gain ward every time you dodge any attack while channeling. While channeling Flurry, Multishot will proc every 6th arrow from Flurry. On top of this automated system, Multishot will also proc itself every 4th Multishot thanks to the Back to Back 1/1 node.

To gain mana, Maddison only has to attack a few times with a few taps of Puncture. This will add more debuffs but also has a 5% base chance to proc Multishot with the Readied Arrows 1/1 node.

----NOTE----

It is very possible to do most clearing with Puncture, and using Flurry for bigger enemies or packs.

As always, my builds never require LP to function, but the build can be improved if found.

Pros & Cons

Pros

Fast clear/Bossing (Video is 151 corruption Orobyss in ~55 seconds)

Dodge feels really good in high values

Mana issues mitigated quickly

Simple Skill Rotation

Cons

Must have or find Dodge Gear Quickly

Defensive Mechanic of Dodge is RNG based

Must be familiar with high damage mechanics

Must ACTIVELY position yourself, dodge is not a face-tank mechanic

Gameplay / Mechanics

----- Mana Sustainability Note -----

If you are losing too much mana or want to lose less, drop some points from Coated Blades 4/8 and put some in Sapping Strikes 1/4. This will effect your top end damage, so be aware,

----- End of Note -----

Majority of confrontations can be cleared with Puncture, others may need Flurry.

If you become surrounded (you made a positioning mistake.) You will need to shift away and tear them down with Flurry. In hopes the dodge buff from Telf'un's Mirage is enough. Be aware of the "vector" like targeting with Multishot; The closer the mouse to your character the wider your arrows will clear, the further the mouse the narrower the volley will be. Use Puncture if you ever need mana, and if you're in a jam, use Decoy to get them off of you and Smoke Bomb to reduce a chance of a critical strike on you.

Close = Wide

Far = Narrow

For bossing you follow a similar strategy, but we use our Decoy and our unscaled Smoke Bomb. With Ambush 1/1 after our Decoy explodes, we gain our dodge % in Critical Strike Multiplier. Since our Dodge should be in the 70%'s, this is a BIG jump in critical strike damage. This, along with several stacks of shred, will tear down higher corruption bosses with ease (just manually dodge high damage mechanics)

Endgame

There are no LP Requirements, but if you found some on a pair of Telf'un's Mirage, Health and Dexterity would by choice.

The end game should revolve around finding T7 or even double exalted gear. Be sure to do dungeon runs to find missing gear as well, as they rotate the drops daily.

Loot Filter

No loot filter is provided for this guide. You can generate a loot filter for this build in the Build Planner or create one using Filter Wizard in the Loot Filters section.
