Overview

?

Greetings, this is my 2nd guide focused on more end game builds. I am not a content creator but this is a build I have been playing with since 8.4 that I really wanted to share. It's not extremely op but its probably one of the more well rounded and most importantly fun builds in the game.

The "Juggernaut Lightning Spell Bear" is heavily focused on survivability mixed with high cooldown based burst damage via Earthquake and decent AE clear via Crackling Assault 5/5. The game play is fast paced and engaging while the effective HP (EHP) is completely off the charts with extreme HP values combined with significant layers of damage reduction and leech. If you enjoy running around doing large nuclear bombs while being extremely tanky this build is something you need to try!

Please see the FAQ section for a few suggestions prior to ~400 corruption & heavy arena pushing focus as you don't need the survivability.

Build Ranking:

Arena: 5/5 (Wave 414, top 10 primalist and 31st overall. I just started doing arena, this was my 2nd endless run ever. Rampage bugged and killed me or would have went further)

Bosses: 3/5 (All T4 bosses cleared, kill speed is abit slow but freeze & high EHP makes it fairly smooth. J4 is a pain due to mechanics of fight combined with build mechanics)

Corruption Pushing: 4/5 (400+ corruption without any trouble, pretty fast pusher but abit slower boss kills)

Survivability: 5/5 (Currently ingame have 7148 hp, 1684 end. threshhold, most resists capped, 72% armor reduction, 100% crit avoid w/sprigg, 3 forms of additional Damage Reduction)

Pros & Cons

Pros

Extremely high EHP and survivability

Fast paced and engaging gameplay leveraging multiple cooldowns

Fast monolith clearer and decent burst damage

Very high gear ceiling with strong damage and survivability scaling

No specific skill node or gear investment required for rage management (just a few passive nodes)

Cons

Abit clunky movement with rampage; can periodically bug

Slower boss killing vs. other high end builds

Very gear dependent, not a starter build but can start playing once Bhuldar's Wrath is acquired

Rage generation in certain mono's (double crit avoid) can be annoying

Gameplay / Mechanics

The general gameplay loop consists of the below:

Below is an explanation of the different interactions and way to scale each part of the build.

Damage:

The goal is to stack strength to convert into spell damage via Wisened Claws 1/1 which scales both your Earthquake and Crackling Assault 5/5 damage.

Survivability:

Stack as much as HP as you can with additional scaling from Werebear Form. In addition, you have multiple layers of defense that really make this build the juggernaut that it is.

Other:

Skills

Passives

Stat Priorities

Idols

Choose your own adventure, try to cap resists while adding vitality and raw HP as much as possible.

Blessings

Lightning Shred, Crit Strike Multipler, and Channeled Armor are your three priorities to max out along with + all resists.

Build Variants

Leveling

This is not a "new player" guide, you must be level 76+ to even start using this guide due to Bhuldar's Wrath. Please reference any of the numerous primalist leveling guides out there.

Endgame

The gameplay section lays out really what you should be focusing on gear wise to excel at end game. With the build being extremely tanky you should be able to push 400+ corruption and 300+ arena as soon as some of the gear comes online. Titan Heart and Apostate's Sanctuary should be swapped to once you are ready to really push into the hard end came content as they add 2500+ hp to your build by trading off some damage.

Loot Filter

End game build so only thing you should be filtering for is idols.

FAQ

Should I play this build right when I am starting empowered monoliths?

I would strongly encourage using a modified version of this until you get into the 300+ corruption/arena area. The modified version below allows for much smoother game play and alot higher clear speed and boss killing. I was around 3k hp with the alot higher damage running 250 corruption without any form of issue but T4 bosses were abit more challenging.

Its really annoying having my Summon Spriggan die in late game, what can I do to keep it alive?

NOTHING...it is not worth it believe me. It will die eventually no matter so don't waste the stats. As mentioned, you still get the buffs while you fight in general screen area of it.

Have you considered Eterra's blessing for the build?

Yes I tried making it work but it ultimately only casts every 12 seconds and is not worth it plus wastes some very scarce passive points to get it to trigger. Also Embolden 4/4 doesn't seem to trigger properly when triggered in werebear form off of maul.

Have you tried integrating meteor belt into your build?

Yes and its VERY fun! I've swapped to Tears of the Forest and Eterra's Path and also played around with fury leap vine skill nodes combined with Tears of the Forest. With 140+ strength the damage scales decent on meteor hitting for maybe 8-10k. Ultimately even for just 200-300 corruption mono pushing i swapped away from it as it didn't feel the trade off was quiet there plus if you had bad luck with a lot of proc's on belt at once it could rage drain you and pop you into human form at really bad times. Definitely suggest giving it a try!!

No druid specific idols?

For the end game build I wanted to focus on HP stacking and supplement a bit of lighting damage. Prior to making the push 400+ arena/corruption I ran damage focused druid idol's for the most part with %increase to spell damage while transformed, lightning damage, etc paired with vitality or increased effect of boar heart. When I made all my recent changes I went from ~3k hp and 1M EQ tooltip (didn't include shatterquake 150% more) to 7100+ HP with ~400k EQ tooltip but also added 13% more damage on bosses/rares and 15% additional DR.
